Physical well-being comes from eating little

I saw a pious man on the seashore wounded by a tiger.
No medicine could relieve his pain; he suffered much, but he nevertheless constantly thanked Allah, the most High,
saying, “Praise be to Allah that i have fallen into a calamity and not into sin."

[Abu Abdullah Adhami]

“Physical well-being comes from eating little , mental well-being comes from sinning little , well-being of the heart comes from worrying little , and well-being of the tongue comes from speaking little .”
- Aidh bin Abdullah al-Qarni
If someone spoke about Hasan al-Basri in a bad way, he would welcome it saying,

"Welcome to good deeds which I didn't perform, nor tired as a result of them, and in which there is no showing off or arrogance."
"If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is guaranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire."

[Ibn Ata’allah] in Hikam
“The sign of the love of Allah is the love of the Qur’an, and the sign of the love of Allah and the Qur’an is the love of the Prophet (ﷺ); and the sign of the Prophet’s love is the love of his sunnah, and the sign of the sunnah’s love is the love of the Hereafter; fudthe sign of the Hereafter’s love is detachment from the worldly life, and the sign of detachment from the worldly life is taking only sustenance needed to attain Paradise in the Hereafter.” - Sahl ibn Sa`d

Al-Fudayl b. ‘Ayyâd:

"When backbiting appears, brotherhood for Allah will disappear; and at that time you will be like things plated with gold and silver: wooden on the inside, [merely] looking good on the outside."

(Abû Nu’aym, Hilyah Al-Awliyâ`, Vol. 3 p395.)

If one of you do not wish to fulfil his brother’s needs

One of the Salaf said:
“If one of you do not wish to fulfil his brother’s needs by sharing his worries or by making invocations (du’â) then do not ask – How are the things? – because it is considered hypocrisy.”

A woman can hide her love

“A woman can hide her love for 40 years, but she cannot hide her hatred for more than an hour.” - Ali ibn Abi Taalib

A man dreams of a perfect wife

"A man dreams of a perfect wife whilst a woman dreams of a perfect husband yet they don't realise that they've been created to complete one another."

You might be married to the worst man ever

You might be married to the worst man ever, like Asiyah was married to Pharaoh - but it didn’t change her and her loyalty and love to Allah.
You might be married to the best of men, like Prophet of God, and still not enter Heaven - like the wife of Nabi Lut a.s.
You might be not married to any man, like Maryam (alaiha salam), and Allah can make your rank higher than any woman on the Earth.
Know your priorities. Love and trust is with Allah first.

A woman's heart should be so lost in the love of Allah

A woman's heart should be so lost in the love of Allah that a man has to seek Him in order to find her

I Hate that I Love You

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.”*
— Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله عنه)
TO The Love of My Life,
I don’t know how to say this, but I hate that I love you.
I hate that I get so focused on you, so “tunnel-visioned”, that even though I see important things passing by in my peripheral, I can’t get myself to look up.
I hate how you use things to get my attention, things that are really out of my reach, and all I ever get is this insatiable longing for more.
I hate how you make me forget my real purpose in life.
I hate how my mind is always spinning with thoughts of you, even when I pray.
I hate how I want everything to work out so well between us, that I would do almost anything.
And I don’t like how my mood is based on our relationship:   If we’re good, I’m happy, but if you’re not giving me your all, I’m depressed.
I hate how when all else fails, I turn to you for comfort, instead of Allah.
And when things are going great, I credit you, instead of Allah.
I hate that I trust you to raise my kids for me.
And I hate that I’m afraid to leave you.
I hate how I look to you for guidance on what’s right and wrong, instead of the Quran and Sunnah.
I hate how I get my standards from you…I allow you to tell me what to think, what to wear, and what to say. And I even let you dictate how much I can accomplish before I pray.
And I look to you for advice on what’s beautiful, what’s pious, and what’s worthy.
But I’m tired now.
I’m tired of crying over your unrealistic love scenes, meaningless goals I’ll never achieve, and unfulfilled promises.
My tears will only serve me if they are wept over my sins…oversleeping for Fajr and memorizing songs instead of Quran.
But I don’t blame you. You’re good at what you do. After all, this is what you were created for.
I just wanted to tell you that you can’t trick me anymore.
Allah has warned me about you.
He told me that you, O Dunya, are nothing but an amusement and diversion.  He told me that He has filled you with beautiful things.  And He told me that nothing ever lasts with you.
Too often I find myself rushing so I won’t be late—for an appointment with you.
But I’m telling you that from now on, bi’idhnillaah, I’m rushing to get ready for my appointment with Allah.
I love the opportunities to do good things while I’m with you, but I have to move on. I have to be done with you.  I have to keep you in my hands while keeping the Hereafter in my heart. I can’t let you make me miss any more chances…chances to pray an extra prayer, to read more Quran, to give to someone in need…to take advantage of any good deed.
I’ve missed too many chances already by being attached to you.
I’ve realized we weren’t meant to be together for long so I’ll deal with you while we’re still together.  But Allah has something bigger and better in store for me.
Every day I’m getting closer, and I can’t take you with me.  So I’m packing, O Dunya!
I’m just taking what I need from you and leaving the rest.
No hard feelings.
But it’s time to move on to a love more lasting than yours.
Signed,
The Traveling Stranger

“Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.” Quran 57:20
“If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.”*

What is best for the women?

Fatimah r.a was asked: What is best for the women? She said: "That men don't see her". Narrated by Al-Bazar 488

Its better for women not see men

Fatima r.a said " Its better for a women not see any man and not to be seen by any man"

Sunday, 20 November 2011

I want her to be..

I want her to be...

Khalid bin Safwan saw a group in the mosque of Basrah, and he said, “What is this gathering?”

He was told, “There is a woman who informs men about women who are available for marriage.”
...
He went to her and said,”I want to marry a woman.”

She said, “Describe her to me.”

He said, “I want her to be a virgin who is wise like a married woman, or a married woman who is innocent like a virgin; she should be sweet when she is near, splendid when she is at a distance, she should have lived a life of luxury and then became afflicted with poverty — so she has the manners of the rich and the humility of the poor. When we gather wealth we should be as the people of the world, and when we become poor, we should be as the people of the Hereafter.”

She said, “I know of such a woman for you.” He said, “And where is she?” She said, “In Paradise, so work to achieve her!”
Assalamu’alaikum Warohmatullohi Wabarakatuhu...

"Help you, one another in al-Birr and at-Taqwaa (virtue, righteousness) but do not help one another in sin and transgression."[Soorah al-Maaidah (5): 2]

A Good Sister is more than a good friend. She is a companion in this dunya, in this world. She gives naseehah (advice), shares her knowledge, keeps contact with her sisters in Islaam, does ibaadah (worship of Allaah) together with her sisters in Islaam..

She protects the honour of her sisters in faith, she controls her tongue and does not spread rumours nor talks behind the back of her sisters. She is a trustworthy friend, a beloved sister.

Sisterhood is a beautiful bond between muslimaat. Simplest way to spread love between us is to spread salaam as Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, has said,

"By the One in Whose hand in my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something that if you do it, you will love one another? Spread salam amongst yourselves." [Muslim]

He, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, has also said: "Do not think little of any good deed, even if it is just greeting your brother with a cheerful countenance."[ Sahih Muslim]

On the authority of Aboo Dharr Jundub ibn Junaadah and Aboo Abdur Rahman Mu'aadh ibn Jabal, on the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that he said: "Fear Allah wherever you may be, trail a bad deed with a good deed and it will wipe out, and treat the people with good character" {Tirmidhee}

As Muslims sisters strive to gain knowledge about their religion and endeavor to increase their Iman, there is one issue of importance that often seems to be neglected. This is the issue of Sisterhood in Islam.

To understand what this special relationship really means we must go much deeper than that. We need to go to the level of the heart from which the bonds of Sisterhood emanate.

This relationship is very special because it involves a unique type of love; one that cannot be experienced in any other social connection. It is a feeling that is particularly extraordinary for those of us who are revert/converts to Islam.

To really enjoy the beauty of this bond we need to completely comprehend the elements that are involved. A letter has been written to each of us to assist us in this endeavor, Insha-Allah. Let us put this knowledge in our hearts and we will begin to see the seeds of true Sisterhood grow into a beautiful, flowering plant, Insha-Allah.

Advice for sisters

Abd al-Malik (RA) said: “When ‘Awf ibn Muhallim al-Shaybani, one of the most highly respected leaders of the Arab nobility during the jahiliyyah, married his daughter Umm Iyas to al-Harith ibn ‘Amr al-Kindi, she was made ready to be taken to the groom, then her mother, Umamah came into her, to advise her and said:

‘O my daughter, if it were deemed unnecessary to give you this advice because of good manners and noble descent, then it would have been unnecessary for you, because you posses these qualities, but it will serve as a reminder to those who are forgetful, and will help those who are wise.
‘O my daughter, if a woman were able to do without a husband by virtue of her father’s wealth and her need for her father, then you of all people would be most able to do without a husband, but women were created for men just as men were created for them.
‘O my daughter, you are about to leave the home in which you grew up, where you first learned to walk, to go to a place you do not know, to a companion to whom you are unfamiliar. By marrying you, he has become a master over you, so be like a servant to him, and he will become like a servant to you.

‘Take from me ten qualities, which will be a provision and a reminder for you.

‘The first and second of them are: be content in his company, and listen to and obey him, for contentment brings peace of mind, and listening to and obeying one’s husband pleases Allah.

‘The third and fourth of them are: make sure that you smell good and look good; he should not see anything ugly in you, and he should not smell anything but a pleasant smell from you. Kohl is the best kind of beautification to be found, and water is better than the rarest perfume.

‘The fifth and sixth of them are: prepare his food on time, and keep quiet when he is asleep, for raging hunger is like a burning flame, and disturbing his sleep will make him angry.

‘The seventh and eight of them are: take care of his servants (or employees) and children, and take care of his wealth, for taking care of his wealth shows that you appreciate him, and taking care of his children and servants shows good management.

‘The ninth and tenth of them are: never disclose any of his secrets, and never disobey any of his orders, for if you disclose any of his secrets you will never feel safe from his possible betrayal, and if you disobey him, his heart will be filled with hatred towards you.

‘Be careful, O my daughter, of showing joy in front of him when he is upset, and do not show sorrow in front of him when he is happy, because the former shows a lack of judgment whilst the latter will make him unhappy.

‘Show him as much honour and respect as you can, and agree with him as much as you can, so that he will enjoy your companionship and conversation.
‘Know, O my daughter, that you will not achieve what you would like to until you put his pleasure before your own, and his wishes before yours, in whatever you like and dislike. And may Allah choose what is best for you and protect you.”

How to treat your sisters in islam

1. She loves them for the sake of Allah :

This is a love untainted by any worldly interests or ulterior motives. True sisterly love is a relationship whose purity is derived from the light of Islamic guidance (Dr. Muhammad A. al-Hashimi). It is a bond that links a Muslims to her sister regardless of geographical origins, ethnicity, skin color, hair form, eye shape, or language. (It is) a bond based upon faith in Allah SWT Who is greater than all our little petty divisions. “The Believers are but a single brotherhood….” [Al-Hujuraat 49:10]

A love which is an expression of the sweetness of faith: “There are three things that whoever attains them will find the sweetness of faith: if Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than anyone else; if he loves a person solely for the sake of Allah; if he would hate to return to kufr after Allah has rescued him from it, as much as he would hate be thrown into the Fire.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

So this is not love for the sake of status, notoriety, or fame. It is a love that requires a clean heart, a light heart, a soft and pliable heart.

In the hadeeth of Mu’adh reported by at-Tirmidhi, the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Allah said: ‘Those who love one another for My glory, will have minbars of light, and the Prophets and martyrs will wish that they had the same” [hasan saheeh hadeeth]

This kind of love is the only way to eliminate hatred, jealousy, and rivalry from peoples hearts.

2. She shows them kindness, faithfulness, and equity :

The importance of kindness is mentioned hundreds of times in the Qur'aan! Islam instills in its followers the characteristic of kindness and faithfulness towards one’s friends, including the parents of one’s friends. The seerah is filled with examples of kindness and faithfulness among the early believers. If you remember the story concerning our mother ‘Aaisha (RA) who used to become upset with Rasoolullah (PBUH) because he used to extend himself to the friends of his late first wife, Khadijah (RA). He (PBUH) spoke highly of Khadijah (RA) and sometimes he would slaughter a sheep and send a large portion to Khadijah’s friends.

3. She meets them with a warm, friendly, smiling face :

In Muslim it is reported our beloved Prophet (PBUH) said: “Do not think little of any good deed, even if it is just greeting your brother with a cheerful countenance.”

The act of smiling actually stimulates the secretion of certain chemicals (endorphins) that increase our sense of well-being.

“Your smiling at your brother is an act of charity (sadaqah)” [reported by at-Tirmidhi who said it is hasan gharib)

4. She is sincere towards them

Sincerity is one of the most basic principles of Islam and a central foundation of the faith. Without sincerity, a sister’s faith is invalid and her Islam is worthless. When the first believers gave allegiance (bay’ah) to the Prophet (PBUH), they pledged their sincerity. This is confirmed by the statement of Jarir ibn ‘Abdullah (RA): “I gave allegiance to the Prophet (PBUH) and pledged to observe regular prayer, to pay zakat and to be sincere towards every Muslim.”

Furthermore, our beloved Prophet (PBUH) said: “None of you truly believes until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself’ It is impossible to do this without sincerity.

5. She does not forsake or abandon her sister(s) :

The religion that calls for love, continued contact, and mutual affection is also the religion (Islam) that has forbidden sisters in faith to hate or abandon one another. The Prophet (PBUH) said “No two people who love one another for the sake of Allah, or for the sake of Islam, will let the first minor offense of either of them come between them.”

This hadith and others tell us that prolonged estrangement from our sister is not acceptable. The longer the estrangement lasts (3 days or more) the greater the sin and the more severe is the punishment that will befall the two who are split by the dispute. Reconciliation among sisters-in-Islam is encouraged and the better of the two (disputing) Muslimahs is the first to give salaam. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “There should be no breaking off of ties, no turning away from one another, no hating one another, and no envying one another. Be brothers, as Allah has commanded you.” [Muslim]

The great Sahabi Abu Darda (RA) used to say: “Shall I not tell you about something that is better for you than charity and fasting? Reconcile between your brothers, for hatred diminishes reward.” (reported by al-Bukhari in Ad-Adab al-Mufrad)

6. She is tolerant and forgiving towards them :

Sometimes it seems so easy to become angry with our sisters in Islam about just about anything. However, the true Muslim restrains her anger and is quick to forgive her sister, and does not see any shame in doing so. Rather, she recognizes this as a good dead that can bring her closer to Allah and earn her His love which He bestows only on those who do good:

“…[those] who restrain anger and pardon (all) men – for Allah loves those who do good.” [Al-‘Imran 3:134]

7. She does not gossip about or backbite them :

The believing woman does not gossip about or backbite her sisters in Islam. She knows that gossip is haraam as the Quran says:

“…. Nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, you would abhor it. But fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.” [al-Hujuraat 49:12]

The believing woman restrains her tongue and speaks only good of her sister, remembering the words of the Prophet (PBUH): “Do you know what gossip is? They said, ‘Allah and His Messenger know best.’ He (PBUH) said, ‘It is your saying about your brother something which he dislikes.” He was asked, ‘What do you think if what I say about my brother is true?’ He said, ‘If it is true then you have gossiped about him and if it not true then you have slandered him.” [Muslim]

Being two-faced is an aspect of this. In fact the two-faced person is regarded as being one of the worst people in the sight of Allah. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) said: “You will find among the worst people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection, the one who is two-faced, who approaches some people in one way and others in another.” [al-Bukhari & Muslim]

8. She avoids arguing with them, making hurtful jokes, and breaking promises :

It is reported by al-Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad that our Prophet (PBUH) said: “Do not argue with your brother, do not joke excessively with him, do not make a promise to him then break it.”

Arguing leads to further misunderstanding, rigidity, and is an easy opening for Iblis; hurtful jokes often lead to hatred and loss of respect; and breaking promises upset people and destroys love. We need to learn to be able to “back off” to not have the final say, to sometimes just “agree to disagree” until the matter can be resolved by someone with more knowledge. The kind of posturing and gesticulation that poisons so many disagreements is leftover jahl (ignorance). We need to run away from this.

9. She is generous and self-sacrificing :

The Muslimah prefers friendship with a Muslim over the non-Muslim. The bond of common belief forms the foundation for generosity, a basic Islamic characteristic. We are entreated by Allah SWT to be

“… lowly [or humble] with the believers, mighty against the kafirun …” [al-Maidah 5:54]

10. She prays for her sisters in their absence :

The sincere Muslimah who truly likes for her sister what she likes for herself does not forget to pray for her sister in her absence. This is a practical demonstration of sisterly love and care. A sincere, pure prayer of this kind is the kind most quickly answered. It is reported by al-Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad that “The quickest prayer to be answered is a man’s supplication for his brother in his absence.”

11. She encourages her sisters in all that is pleasing to Allah

Between the Wall

Allah `azza wa jall has created men and women from each other. He placed in between them a wall which segregated the two genders. Behind this wall is "mercy" whereas the front portion of this wall is torment. In between the wall there is a door. So whoever wishes happiness, comfort, benevolence, and mercy from the opposite side of this wall, then he/she has to go through the door, and the door is marriage.

And whoever tries to go to the other side through another way by knocking out the wall or breaking it, or by stealing some of pleasures of the opposite side, then he/she will have pain, worry, illness, and disgrace as his/her companions in this worldly life, and will have Hell fire awaiting him in the Hereafter."

Muslim Gal's Guide for Dealing with Outside World!

A Muslim Gal's Guide for Dealing with Outside World!

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem!

Life is full of crazy obstacles, but the one that will probably bug you the most and always be getting in the way is the opposite gender. Here, from one sister to another, is a Muslim girl's guide for how to deal with it.

No Touching!
Muslims are forbidden to touch any non-Mahram (Mahram is your dad, brothers, father-in-law, husbands, grandfathers, and the siblings of your parents)person of the opposite gender. That means no patting on the back, no hand shaking, no pushing, no shoving, no holding hands, and obviously no kissing and all that. If you're in a difficult situation where you think someone will try to shake your hand, the best thing to do is just smile and say, 'My people don't shake hands' and then explain why. And why, is bcz we believe a woman's touch is a privilege and she doesn't just share it with anyone.

No Flirting! Not even with Muslims, not even in an Islamic school, especially notin a masjid! Flirting means that you're saying or doing things on purpose that make the other person attracted to you. There's no set criterion for what flirting is, but any girl knows what is and how to do it. Muslim women are supposed to behave better than the average woman, who has to be beautiful for all the men around her all the time, who are trapped behind their looks and o*nly judge themselves to be worthy ifhalf the men they know are in love with them. A wise dude once said, 'Don't start the mower unless you intend to cut the grass'. If you don't want a guy's advances, then don't do anything to earn them. There's no point in throwing yourself all over guys and trying to seduce half the world. You really only want to marry one guy, and you want to spend the rest of your life with him, and chances are he isn't going to be some dork you fluttered your eyelashes at in high school.

No Boyfriends!
As a Muslim, you know that having a boyfriend is haraam because it counts as Zina - fornication. Fornication, in easy English, means `sexual sin'. Allah expressly forbids romantic or sexual relationships outside of marriage. When people go againstthat rule, then you get the typical western society where people play sexual merry-go-round with each other, givingeach other STDs, using and abusing each other, and destroying the sacredness of marriage as an institution. You can't even be sort of engaged to a guy, and then 'date' to get to know each other. In Islam, non-Mahram men and women aren't allowed to be alone together (that includes talking on the phone, chating on internet), to touch (not even shake hands), or even gaze at each other. It doesn't matter if the guy you like is Muslim, a great guy and the Prince of England, you can't date him.

No Boy—friends!
The easiest way to ensure that you don't end up falling in love with some guy before you're ready to get married is to avoid making friends with boys. Of course in school you have to interact with boys all over the place, but that doesn't mean you should be best buds with them. Probably 90% of relationships begin from friendships. Chances are you're not ready for marriage, your parents aren't ready to let you get married, you're still in school/college and your crush is not the sort of fellow you want to spend the rest of your life with, so just avoid being friends with him in the first place. It really is the best formula for saving yourself from needless temptation. When you have to talk to boys inschool as team mates, lab partners, group members, and peers, it's best to maintain a distance. That means that you don't confide in them, you don't let down your guard, you don't unnecessarily engage them in needless conversation, don't jokearound, and never flirt. Yeah it may be a little hard, but this is your afterlife we're talking about. So many great sisters have put themselves in really sticky situations because they allowed a boy to get to know them, and either ended up liking the boy, or having the boy like them. Once that happens you either end up becoming a pair (which is HARAAM!), or having to end your friendship. Instead of letting it get to that point, and then having to kill a friendship that you probably worked hard o*n cultivating, youshould just stop it before it begins. There are plenty of great girls all around who can be your friends and if you really think only a guy will understand your problem, then talk to your REAL brother, or your father, or an uncle.

No Talking on the Phone with Boys!
In Islam its forbidden for non-related guys and girls to be alone together because there is the chance for physical zina, vocal zina, and zina of the eyes. That means, with no one there to watch you guys except that boogery shaitaan, then you might be tempted to actually DO something, or say gross things, or just stare at each other all lustily. With that in mind, it's also a safe bet to assume that talking on the phone with non-Mahram guys is a no-no too. Why? Because unless you've both got it on speaker-phone and you're chaperoned by a responsible person, then you're still kind of 'alone' with him. The people in your house can't hear what he's saying to you, and his family can't hear what you're saying to him. There's a chance for some bad stuff then, so just avoid it. Not to mention, having some dude saying things into your ear that no one else can hear would be gross in real life, why is it okay for him to talkinto your ear via the telephone? For the most part it's just too intimate.

Practice n Observe Hijab
Hijaab is a vast aspect how you talk, how u walk, how n at what u look n what n how u wear n dress up..So cover urself aptly according to Islamic shariya n avoid all im-modest stuff in ur life in ur talking, thinking, walking, studying, interacting. This will also help u a lot to build up a strong personality!

Be Disaffected!
What does that mean? Disaffected means un-affect-able.That means that nothing a dude can say can hit your nerves, make you blush, or get a reaction out of you. It also means that you are uninterestedin what they do as well. Imagine yourself being in an airplane looking down on the scenery below. You're a little interested in what's going on down there, and it may look really nice, but you know that to get to the scenery you have to jump off the plane. Like the scenery miles below you, the guy may look really nice, but you know that toget him you have to jump off the plane ...errr...commit spiritual suicide, and though the fall may be fun, you will eventually hit theground 600 meters below and go-splat– on Judgment Day. Maybe even sooner. Short of becoming an ice-princess, being disaffected involves putting up a mental wall between you and all of male-kind.They don't know your thoughts and you don't care for theirs. You can interact with guys at school/college within the bounds of Islam, but always maintain a formal distance. Don't ask a guy how his infected toe is doing. Don't give him a hug when he looks down. Don't offer to help him with his homework. Don't go out of your way to remind him that you exist, and that you're not half bad looking. Even if you don't feel like behaving, make yourself behave anyway, your afterlife is important enough to discipline yourself for. The safest philosophy when dealing with guys is remembering this 'He's not what I want, so why should I do anything to make him interested in me? That'll just make for a painfully awkward situation and it's not worth the sin anyhow.' Remember that you're always being watched! Would you act all giggly and stupid with boys if the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) could see you? No, right? Because you'd feel like an ungrateful idiot for disregarding the religion that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) took so much pain for just to deliver to you. Well, imagine how ungrateful it is to act like a supreme idiot when Allah can seeyou all the time, and it's really stupid to disregard the religion that Allah prescribed, the favors He's bestowed upon you. How dumb is it to take the eyes that Allah gave you and do things with them that He told you not to? (like goggle at boys?) How much stupider is it that He can see you doing this, and you knowit!

You have no secrets!
Not because Big Brother (whoever that is…) is watching you, but because every single thing you ever did will become public domain on the Day of Judgment, and you'll be brought to trial to defend what you did. Just don't do anything that you wouldn't want your parents, your siblings, your teachers, your friends, and the whole world to know about, ok?

GIRLS BEWARE PLEASE...
IT IS SERIOUS! HELP URSELF
It has recently been found out that there are some spammers present on Facebook,Orkut, hi5, MSN or Yahoo! profiles etc who downloadthe Photographs of Girls from their Profile and they get 5 centper photograph. These photographs are later sent into Image Editors like Photoshop where they are morphed and superimposed on the images of Porn Stars. These people are so expert in this field that the photographs looks completely real and anyonecan get deceived by generated images. Attributes of a Righteous Wife

Attributes of a Righteous Wife

"If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (i.e. Ramadan), guards her private parts, and obeys her husband, it will be said to her, ‘Enter Paradise through whichever of the gates of Paradise you wish.’" (Sahih Al-Bukhari)__________________________________________________ ______________________
Devotion and Obedience to Allah (SWT) such that she fulfills His rights, such as the prayer, fasting, chastity covering herself, withholding her gaze and so on.

Obedience to Her Husband in that which does not involve disobedience to Allah (SWT) such that she fulfills his rights completely. Allah's Messenger (SAW) said,
"If I were to order anyone to prostrate to other than Allah, I would have ordered the woman to prostrate to her husband. By Him in whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the woman will not fulfill the rights of her Lord until she fulfills the rights of her husband; and even if he were to request her for herself (i.e. to have intercourse with her) whilst she was sitting upon a camel's saddle, she should not refuse him."
(Sahih, reported by Ibn Maajah and Ahmad from Abdullah ibn Awfaa)

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"It is not right that any human being should prostrate to another human being, and if it were right for a human being to prostrate to another human being I would have ordered the woman to prostrate to her husband due to the greatness of his rights upon her. By Him in whose Hand is my soul, if from his foot the crown of his head there was a wound pouring forth with pus, and she (his wife) came and licked that,
then she would (still) not have fulfilled his right." (Good, reported by Ahmad and others)

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"If the woman knew the right of the husband, she would not sit when his morning and evening meals were presented until he finished." (Reported by al-Bazzar and others)

That She Guards and Preserves Herself and Her Honor, in the Absence of Her Husband, from the hand of anyone wishing to touch her, the eye of anyone wishing to look upon her, and the ear of anyone wishing to listen to her.
Likewise that she preserves her husband’s children, home and wealth. Allah (SWT) says:
"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.)…" (An-Nisa’ 4:34)
As-Sa’dee said, "They are obedient to Allah (SWT), they are obedient to their husbands even when the husbands are absent and she guards herself and her husband’s property."
The Prophet (SAW) said,
"If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (i.e. Ramadan), guards her private parts, and obeys her husband, it will be said to her, ‘Enter Paradise through whichever of the gates of Paradise you wish.’" (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

Serving Her Husband. First of all by carrying out what is required in his house, such as bringing up and educating the children, preparing the meals and the beds and so on.
From Husayn ibn Mihsan who said that my paternal aunt said,
"I came to Allah’s Messenger (SAW) for some need, so he asked, ‘You there! Are you married?’ I replied, ‘Yes.’ He then asked, ‘How are you towards your husband?’ She responded, ‘I do not fall short in his service except with regard to what I am unable to do.’ He said, ‘Then look to your standing with him, for indeed he is your Paradise and your Fire.’" (Sahih, reported by al-Haadim and others)
Here is an example of how Asma bint Abu Bakr (RA), served her husband. She said,
"Az-Zubayr married me and he did not have any property or slaves or anything upon the earth except for a camel which drew water from the well and his horse. So I used to feed his horse, draw the water, stitch his water bucket, and prepare the dough, but I was not proficient in baking bread - so ladies from the Ansar who were my neighbors and were honorable used to bake the bread for me. I also used to carry the date-stones upon my head, from the land given to az-Zubayr by Allah’s Messenger (SAW) - and it was about two miles away. One day when I was coming with the date-stones on my head, I met Allah’s Messenger (SAW) and a group of the Ansar were with him. So he called me and said, ‘Ikh, ikh (a word said to make the camel kneel down.).’ in order to carry me behind him upon the camel. But I felt shy to proceed along with the men, and I thought of az-Zubayr and his sense of jealousy, and he was one of the most jealous of the people. So Allah’s Messenger (SAW) saw my shyness and so passed on. So I came to az-Zubayr and said, ‘Allah’s Messenger (SAW) met me while I was carrying the date-stones upon my head and with him were a group of his Companions. He caused his riding camel to kneel, but I felt shy and remembered your sense of jealousy.’ So he said, ‘By Allah (SWT) your having to carry the date-stones is harder upon me than that you should ride along with him.’" She said, "Then later on Abu Bakr sent me a servant to look after the horse, so it was if he had set me free." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
The scholars differ with regard to the ruling about a woman serving her husband. Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said, "The scholars differed about whether she has to serve her husband with regard to the like of household bedding, preparing food and drinks, baking the bread, grinding the corn, and providing food for his slaves and cattle - such as providing fodder for his riding beast and so on."
Some of them say: It is not obligatory for her to serve him - and this is a weak saying, like the weakness of the saying that it is not obligatory upon her to live together with him and have intercourse with him! However what is correct is that it is obligatory to serve him, since the husband is her master according to the Book of Allah (SWT), and she is a captive with him according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW), and the captive and the slave have to serve - and this is something known. Allah (SWT) says:
"…Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.)…" (An-Nisa’ 4:34)
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said in the sermon of the Farewell Pilgrimage:
"…treat your women well, for they are captives with you." (Hasan Sahih, reported by at-Tirmidhee)
This Ayat shows that it is obligatory upon her to serve her husband unrestrictedly, including: serving him, traveling along with him, making herself available to him, and so on - just as it is obligatory to obey the parents, since the obedience due from her to the parents transfers to the husband.

Keeping the Husband's Secrets. Particularly what occurs between him and her in private - with regard to sexual matters and the private affairs within the marriage. Disclosing the husbands secrets will hurt him and anger him and this contradicts obedience to him and seeking to please him. Furthermore preserving his secrets is one of the duties of the righteous and obedient woman, as described in the Saying of Allah (SWT),
"…Guard in the husband’s absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property, etc.)…" (An-Nisa’ 4:34)
Part of their guarding what they are to guard in the absence of their husbands is that they should not broadcast their secrets.

From Asma bint Yazeed (RA), who said that she was in the company of Allah's Messenger (SAW) and men and women were sitting, and he (SAW) said,

"Perhaps a man mentions that which he did with his wife, and perhaps a woman informs of what she does with her husband?!" So the people were silent, so I said, "Yes, by Allah (SWT), O Messenger of Allah (SAW)! The women certainly do that, and the men certainly do that." He (SAW) said, "Then do not do so, since that is just like a male devil meeting a female devil upon the way, and he has intercourse with
her while the people are watching." (Reported by Ahmad and there are witnessing narration’s which raise it to the level of being Sahih or Hasan at the very least)

She Should Appear Before the Husband in the Best Appearance, such that if he looks at her it pleases him.
Abu Hurairah (RA), narrates the Messenger Of Allah (SAW) was asked,
"Which of the women is the best?" He replied, "The one who gives him (the husband) pleasure when he looks (at her outer beauty, or the inner beauty of her good character and how she devotes herself to obedience to Allah and taqwa); obeys him when he orders; and does not go against his wishes with regard to herself or her wealth by doing that which he dislikes." (Sahih Muslim, reported by an-Nasaa’ee, al-Haakim and Ahmad)

She Should Not Spend Any of His Wealth or Her Wealth Except With His Permission
From Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (RA) who said that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said,
"It is not permissible for a woman to give a gift
except with the permission of her husband." (Hasan, reported by Abu Dawud an-Nasaa’ee and Ahmad)

Al-Albani (ra) said, "However it is not becoming for the husband - if he is a sincere Muslim - that he should use this ruling to play the tyrant with his wife and to prevent her from utilizing her wealth in a manner which will not harm either of them. Indeed this right is very similar to the right of the girls guardian - who is such that she cannot get herself married except with his permission. But if he unjustly prevents her, then the matter is raised to the Islamic judge for justice to be attained. Likewise is the ruling with regard to a woman’s wealth if her husband oppresses her and prevents her from spending her wealth in a lawful and prescribed manner - then the judge will also bring about justice for her. So there is no problem with the ruling itself, rather the problem is in how it is misused."

She Should Not Permit Anyone to Enter Her Husband's House Except With His Permission
From Abu Hurairah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"It is not permissible for a woman to fast when her husband is present except with his permission; nor may she permit anyone to enter his house except with his permission; and whatever she spends in charity without his order - then half of the reward is for him." (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

She Should Not Ask Her Husband For Divorce Without a Reason Necessitating That
From Thawbaan (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"Whichever woman asks her husband for divorce without a strong reason - then the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden for her." (Sahih Muslim, reported by Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhee and others)

Avoidance of Cursing
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (RA) said, "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) went out to the prayer-ground for the (prayer of) Adhaa or Fitr, and he passed by the women and said,
‘O women! Give in charity, for I have been shown that you shall be the majority of the people in the Fire.’ So they asked, ‘Why is that, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)!’ He replied, ‘You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands.’" (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

Being Thankful to the Husband for the good he does and for his good treatment to his wife.
This is accomplished by good words, and by her obedience to him in what is good, and by not forgetting his good treatment and avoiding denying this, since that is one of the reasons which brings about the entry into the Fire.

From Ibn Abbass (RA), who said that the Prophet (SAW) said,

"I was shown the Fire and found that the majority of its inhabitants were women, due to ingratitude. It was said: "Is it that they disbelieve in Allah?" He said: They are ungrateful to their husbands and deny the good they do. If you were to treat one of them well always, and she then saw something (displeasing) from you she would say: ‘I have never seen any good from you.’" (Reported by Al-Bukhari)
Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said,
"Allah will not look at a woman who is not thankful to her husband and she cannot do without him."

She Should Not Remove Her Clothes Outside Her Husband's House
Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said,
"Whichever woman removes her clothes in other than her house, then Allah (SWT), will tear down His cover from her." (Sahih-Jami, reported by al-Haakim and others)
Al-Manawee said, "’Allah (SWT) will tear down His cover from her’ since because she has failed to take care of what she has been commanded with regard to covering herself from strangers, then this is the recompense she receives, the recompense being of the type of the action. What is apparent is that removal of her clothing means uncovering herself to strange males, for the purpose of sexual intercourse or that which leads to it. As opposed to the case if she were to remove her clothes amongst women, whilst covering her private parts, since there is no reason for that to enter into this warning."

Striving to Please the Husband by Every Possible Means
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"Your women from the people of Paradise are the beloved and fertile, the one who is an asset to her husband, who if her husband becomes angry - comes and places her hand in the hand of her husband and says, ‘I will not taste sleep until you are pleased (with me).’"
In al-Kabaa’ir of adh-Dhahabee, "What is obligatory upon the woman is that she seeks the pleasure of her husband, and avoids angering him, and does not refuse him whenever he wants her. The woman must also know that she is like a slave to her husband, so she should not do anything affecting herself or her husbands wealth except with his permission. She should give precedence to his rights over her rights, and the rights of his relatives over the rights of her relatives, and she should keep herself clean and be ready for him to enjoy her. She should not boast at his expense of her beauty, nor rebuke him for any ugliness found in him. The woman must also be always modest and reserved in the presence of her husband, lower her eyes in front of him, obey his commands, remain silent when he speaks, keep far away form everything which angers him, avoid treachery when he is absent, with regard to his bed, his wealth and his house. She should ensure that her aroma is pleasant, be accustomed to using musk and perfume and cleaning her mouth with miswaak. She should be constant in adorning herself in his presence and not when he is absent. She should treat his family and relatives honorably, and consider something small from him as something great."

* A womans brain is tied to her tongue!!*

* A womans brain is tied to her tongue!!*

نحن نؤمن أن التوفيق بيد الله سبحانه وحدة وأن كل شيء مقدر ومكتوب .. ولكن هناكأسباب يجب الأخذ بها مع التوكل على الله

We believe that success is in the hands of Allah SWT and that everything hasbeen written and destined.. but there are actions that we must be doingwhilst having Tawakul on Allah SWT

And I shall mention to you what an old lady, that was very wise and greatlyloved by her husband to a point where he loved to sing love poetry to herand as they grew old their love and happiness grew with them, said when shewas asked about the secret to her enduring happiness.

قالت : الحصول على السعادة الزوجية بيد المرأة , فالمرأة تستطيع أن تجعل منبيتها جنة وارفة الظلال أو جهنم مستعرة النيران .>

She Said: Attaining married life happiness is in the hands of the woman, forshe can make her house a living heaven or turn it into burning hell.

لا تقولي المال .. فكثير من النساء الغنيات تعيسات وهرب منهن أزواجهن

Dont say money for alot of rich women are miserable and have been desertedby their husbands.

ولا تقولي الأولاد .. فهناك من النساء من أنجبن 10 صبيان وزوجها يهينها ولايحبها ويمكن أن يطلقها

And dont say children for there are alot of women with 10 boys, have husbands insulting them, not loving them and will probably divorce them.

ولا تقولي طباخة .. لأن الكثير منهن ماهرات في الطبخ , فالواحدة منهن تطبخ طوالالنهار ومع ذلك تشكو سوء معاملة زوجها وقلة احترامه لها

And dont say cooking because alot of them are experts at cooking, the one ofthem cooks all day and yet complains about the maltreatment of and lack ofrespect by her husband

* إذا ما هو السر ؟؟؟

So what is the secret?

* ماذا كنت تعملين عند حدوث المشاكل مع زوجك ؟؟؟

What did you do when problems ocured with your husband?

She said: When my husband gets angry and is in rage I used to resort torespectful silence, beware of silence whilst ridiculing him with your lookfor men are smart and get it.

* لم لا تخرجي من الغرفة ؟؟

Why dont you leave the room?

She said: Never leave the room, he will think you are running away and dontwant to listen to him, you must keep silent and agreeing to what he says. Iwould wait for him until he cools down and then I would tell him in a gentlevoice: Are you done? then I leave because he will get tired and needs torest after the rage and shouting, I leave the room to complete my houseworkand my children chores and I try not to remember his anger and assault onme, he will remain by himself tired from the rage he has given me.

* ماذا تفعلين هل تلجئين إلى أسلوب المقاطعة فلا تكلمينه لمدة أيام أو أسبوع ؟

What do you then do, do you give him the silent treatment for a few days ora week?

She said: No, never give the silent treatment, its a bad habbit and is adouble bladed sword, when you boycott him for a week it would be difficulton him in the beginning and he will try to speak to you but with time hewill get used to it so that if you boycott him for a week he will boycottyou for two.

عليك أن تعوديه على أنك الهواء الذي يستنشقه والماء الذي يشربه ولا يستغني عنه.. كوني كالهواء الرقيق وإياك والريح الشديدة

You have to make him used to the fact that you are the air he breathes, thewater which he drinks and cant live without, be like a gentle breeze andnever like a strong wind.

* إذاً ماذا تفعلين بعد ذلك ؟؟

So what do you do afterwards?

؟ فأقول لا

After two hours or more, I give him a glass of juice or a cup of coffee andtell him please drink, for he is really in need for it and I talk to himnormaly, he will ask me: are you angry? and I say No.

فيبدأ بالاعتذار عن كلامه القاسي ويسمعني الكلام الجميل

He starts to apologize for his harsh talk and starts sweet talking me.* وهل تصدقين اعتذاره وكلامه الجميل؟؟

And you believe his apology and sweet talk?

طبعاً ... لأني أثق بنفسي ولست غبية ...!!!

Ofcourse, because I trust myself and because I am not stupid.

.هل تريدين مني تصديق كلامه وهو غاضب وتكذيبه وهو هادئ ؟؟؟

You want me to believe his talk whilst he is in rage and disbelieve it whilst he is calm?

ن الإسلام لا يقر طلاق الغاضب ... وهو طلاق!! فكيف ما حصل معي أنا؟؟؟

Islam has not approved divorce whilst in rage , and thats divorce! so whatabout what happened to me?

* فقيل لها ... و كرامتك ؟؟

She was told: What about your dignity?

قالت : أي كرامة ؟

She said: What dignity?كرامتك ألا تصدقي أي كلمة جارحة من إنسان غاضب

Your dignity is when you dont believe a harsh word from an angry person.

و أن تصدقي كلامه عندما يكون هادئاً

And to believe his talk when he is calm.

أسامحه فوراً لأني قد نسيت كل الشتائم وأدركت أهمية.سماع الكلام المفيد

I forgive him immediately because I have forgotten all the foul language andrealized the importance of hearing beneficial talk

وباختصار ومما سبق يمكن أن أقول :سر السعادة الزوجية عقل المرأة ومربط تلك السعادة لسانها

And to summarize the above I can say: The secret to a happy marriage is thewoman's brain and that happiness's knot is her tongue.

The deception of women

The deception of women

This morning I was reading Saydul-Khaatir (basically a book that he compiled regarding random beneficial thoughts and words of wisdom) by Ibn Al-Jawzee and he mentioned therein in the aforementioned chapter title some points that I found to very profound, hence I decided to go ahead and translate it for the benefit of everyone. He said:The greatest physical pleasure (i.e. as it realtes to the five senses) is that of women. For a man can look at a woman in her dress and imagine that she is better than his wife. Or all he thinks about is pretty women and he does not look pass their physical beauty, thus he makes great effort to marry or get a slave girl. But once he gets what he wanted, he cannot help but to focus on her faults which he never thought about before. Hence, he easily becomes bored and he looks for another.

But he does not know that he might get the outward, physical aspect that he was chasing after, however with her comes with a lot of trials and tribulation.

From amongst them is that his second wife has no deen, intelligence, affection, or child rearing capabilities, hence he looses more than he gains.

And this is why so many people fall into zinaa; because they sit with a woman in a situation whereby her faults are hidden from them and all they see is her beauty, so they enjoy that hour, then they move on to another.

A person of intelligence should know that there is no way that he can get all that he desires, "Though you would not accept it save if you close your eyes and tolerate therein." Al-Baqarah: 267

And there is no greater fault of the women of this world except His statement,

"And they shall have therein purified mates or wives." Al-Baqarah: 25

The Etiquette of Women walking in the Street

The Etiquette of Women walking in the Street

Allah's saying: (And let them not stamp their feet...)

During Jahiliyyah, when women walked in the street wearing anklets and no one could hear them, they would stamp their feet so that men could hear their anklets ringing. Allah forbade the believing women to do this. By the same token, if there is any other kind of adornment that is hidden, women are forbidden to make any movements that would reveal what is hidden, because Allah says: (And let them not stamp their feet...) to the end of it.

From that, women are also prohibited from wearing scent and perfume when they are going outside the home, lest men should smell their perfume. Abu `Isa At-Tirmidhi recorded that Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet said: (Every eye commits fornication and adultery, and when a woman puts on perfume and passes through a gathering, she is such and such) -- meaning an adulteress.

He said, "And there is a similar report from Abu Hurayrah, and this is Hasan Sahih.'' It was also recorded by Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i.

By the same token, women are also forbidden to walk in the middle of the street, because of what this involves of wanton display.

Abu Dawud recorded that Abu Usayd Al-Ansari said that he heard the Messenger of Allah , as he was coming out of the Masjid and men and women were mixing in the street, telling the women: (Keep back, for you have no right to walk in the middle of the street. You should keep to the sides of the road.)

The women used to cling to the walls so much that their clothes would catch on the walls.

(And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.) means, practice what you are commanded in these beautiful manners and praiseworthy characteristics, and give up the evil ways of the people of Jahiliyyah, for the greatest success is to be found in doing what Allah and His Messenger command and avoiding what He forbids. And Allah is the source of strength.

(32. And marry those among you who are single (Al-Ayama) and the pious of your servants and maidservants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty. And Allah is All- Sufficent, All-Knowing.)

(33. And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His bounty. And such of your servants as seek a writing (of emancipation), give them such writing, if you find that there is good and honesty in them. And give them something (yourselves) out of the wealth of Allah which He has bestowed upon you. And force not your slave-girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, in order that you may make a gain in the goods of this worldly life. But if anyone compels them, then after such compulsion, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.)

(34. And indeed We have sent down for you Ayat that make things plain, and the example of those who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who have Taqwa.)

Ibn Uthaymeen: "Do not Marry 7 types of Women ...

Ibn Uthaymeen: "Do not Marry 7 types of Women ...

Do not Marry 7 types of Women

1. Al-Annaanah:

The woman who whines, moans and complains and 'ties a band around her head' all the time (i.e. complains of a headache or some illness but in reality she is not sick, rather she is faking).

2. Al-Mannaanah:

The woman who bestows favours, gifts, etc. upon her husband then (at that time or the future) says; "I did such and such for you or on your behalf or because of you.

3. Al-Hannaanah:The women who yearns or craves for her former husband or children of the former husband.

4. Kay'atul-Qafaa:The women who has a brand mark on the nape of her neck (i.e. has a bad reputation or doubts about her).

5. Al-Haddaaqah:The women who cast her eyes at things (i.e. always looking at something to purchase, then desires it and requires her husband to buy it (No Matter What).

6. Al-Barraaqah:The women who spends much of her day enhancing her face and beautifying it to such an extent that it will seem like it was manufactured.

7. Al-Shaddaaqah:The woman who talks excessively.
