أنم من المرآة في كـل مـا درى
وأقطع بين الناس من قصب الهند
أظن المنايا والزمان تـعـلـمـا
تحليله بالقطـع بـين ذوي الـود

Than mirror, mirror on the wall:
He strikes more swiftly friends apart
Than Indian sabres split the heart".

All practise to one common end
