How do you speak to people?
ابن مسعود: إنك لست محدثا الناس بحديث لا تبلغه عقولهم إلا كان لبعضهم فتنة
Point of benefit: This is a beautiful statement of Ibn Mas'ood (radhia'Allahu `anhu) where he advises speaking to people on a level they can understand because as he says above, if you speak to them above their level such that their minds cannot comprehend your speech, it will only place them into fitnah (trial).
Know how you speak but more importantly, know whom you're speaking to.
This is a great tool which we can all take from insha'Allah!
